The first half an hour was mainly spent in the Truro half, with only the odd visit for the Truro attack.

Hayes then made their control of the game pay, with a goal by Francis Amartey, and that is how the first half finished.

With 15 minutes to go, Truro equalised with a own goal by Adel Gafaiti.
Truro then started to show their teeth, but on the 85th minute Hayes took the lead again with a goal by Jake Sheppard, and then Francis Amartey made it safe on the 90th minute.
