22-04-2023 Basingstoke Town v South Park

Photos from Basingstoke Town v South Park (reigate) in the Isthmian League South Central Division.

An afternoon of two matches.
Basingstoke goes one behind, with Thatcham beating Walton & Hersham, meaning W&H were currently champions.
Then Basingstoke equalized, and then took the lead, both by penalties. Basingstoke were now champions, even when W&H equalised.
But then W&H took the lead and the championship back...
UNTIL the 90th minute when Thatcham equalised, and a massive cheer went around the ground, and once the other game had finished, Basingstoke knew they had done the improbable, and were CHAMPIONS.
